Case study — legal services

Her market hadn't disappeared. It had gone quiet.

Two signed cases cover eight months of ad spend. That's the math this practice runs on now — because we turned every objection her prospects felt but never said out loud into the content that answered it before they ever picked up the phone.

Meta AdsContentCreative Testing Feb – Oct 2025
806 Leads generated in eight months, all built on one objection-answering system

~$8,000 What an average case is worth to the practice

Where it started

A market that had gone quiet, not disappeared.

A real reputation and no way to grow it on purpose — every new matter arrived because someone else sent it. That works right up until the month it doesn't.

It was also a slow season, and not the ordinary kind. Policy had shifted in her field, and the effect on her audience wasn't confusion — it was fear. People who genuinely needed representation were quietly deciding to wait and see.

Most agencies would read that as a targeting problem and go buy more traffic. It wasn't a traffic problem. The demand existed and was actively suppressing itself.

The angle

They didn't need persuading. They needed permission.

An audience that's afraid doesn't respond to a stronger offer. It responds to having the thing it's afraid of explained, plainly, by someone who clearly knows what they're talking about.

So the advertising stopped selling consultations and started teaching. Every ad was built to take one piece of the fear off the table — what the process actually involves, what it doesn't, what happens if you do nothing.

We also built it for the community she actually serves. The Armenian market in her area wasn't being spoken to by anyone in her category, in their language or their register. That audience wasn't expensive to reach. It was simply unaddressed.

What we built

The consultation starts before the consultation.

01
We mined her office for the scriptEvery question and objection she heard across the desk, week after week, got written down. That list became the content calendar. Nothing invented, nothing guessed — the exact things real clients were already worried about.
02
Objections answered before the meeting, not in itEach concern got its own piece of content and its own ad. By the time someone booked, they had already heard the answer to the thing that would otherwise have stalled them in the room.
03
A sequence, not a campaignAwareness content first, so the brand was familiar before it ever asked for anything. Then the education. Then the offer. People arrived warm and in order, rather than cold and all at once.
04
Volume of variation, judged on one numberDozens of angles tested across the account. Some found leads at $15, some at $100. Keeping the account honest about which is which is most of the job.

What that's worth. At an average case value of ~$8,000, a single signed matter returns roughly half of everything spent on advertising across the entire eight months. Two cases cover all of it. Everything after that is margin — and the pipeline those 806 leads produced runs into the hundreds of thousands of dollars in signed and pending matters. We're quoting pipeline rather than collected revenue, because that's the number we can stand behind.

Afterwards

It's not our angle anymore.

Nobody in her category was running education as an acquisition strategy when we started. It's since become a normal thing to see in that market — which is roughly what happens when something works in public.

We take that as the cost of going first, not as a loss. By the time an approach is being copied it has already done its job, and the useful question is what we're testing next.

Next step

What is your market afraid to ask you?

Thirty minutes. We'll look at what stalls your prospects before they ever book, and what we'd build first — whether or not you hire us.
